The Messenger of Allah ﷺ taught me some words that I say during the witr. (The version of Ibn Jawwas has: I say them in the supplication of the witr.) They were: "O Allah, guide me among those Thou hast guided, grant me security among those Thou hast granted security, take me into Thy charge among those Thou hast taken into Thy charge, bless me in what Thou hast given, guard me from the evil of what Thou hast decreed, for Thou dost decree, and nothing is decreed for Thee. He whom Thou befriendest is not humbled. Blessed and Exalted art Thou, our Lord." (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 1425)

What scholars said about it
In their own words, as Hadith Unlocked records them. They are shown, not summarised into a grade.
- M. ibn Ḥibbān al-Bustī
machine translationHe declared it weak (ḍaʿīf) and said: This report was narrated by Abū Isḥāq from Burayd b. Abī Maryam, and his two sons Isrāʾīl and Yūnus heard it from their father, and from Burayd b. Abī Maryam. Abū Isḥāq al-Sabīʿī was a concealer of defects (mudallis); he is not junior to Burayd b. Abī Maryam, rather he is higher in his chain than him, but we do not know whether he heard this report from Burayd or not. He said: And this wording, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ taught me words to say in the qunūt of the witr," is not preserved (maḥfūẓ).
in مسند الدارمي, p. 1630 - Ibn Khuzaymah
machine translationLike the hadith of Wakīʿ regarding the supplication, but he did not mention the qunūt or the witr. Shuʿbah is a better memorizer than a number of people like Yūnus b. Abī Isḥāq, and Abū Isḥāq is not known to have heard this report from Burayd or to have concealed a defect in transmitting it from him (dallasahu), unless it is as some of our scholars claim, that everything Yūnus narrated from those from whom his father Abū Isḥāq narrated is among what Yūnus heard along with his father from those he narrated from. Had the report been established from the Prophet ﷺ that he commanded the qunūt in the witr or performed the qunūt in the witr, it would not be permissible in my view to go against the report of the Prophet ﷺ, but I do not know it to be established.
