✧ Whenever the Messenger of Allah ﷺ stood to perform the night prayer, he would say: O Allah, to You belongs all praise. You are the Light of the heavens and the earth and all that is in them. To You belongs all praise. You are the Sustainer of the heavens and the earth and all that is in them. To You belongs all praise. You are the King of the heavens and the earth and all that is in them. You are the Truth, Your word is truth, Your promise is truth, meeting You is truth, Paradise is truth, Paradise is truth, Hellfire is truth, the resurrection is truth, the prophets are truth, and Muhammad ﷺ is truth. O Allah, to You I have submitted, in You I have believed, upon You I have relied, to You I have turned, with You I have argued, and to You I have appealed for judgment. So forgive me for what I have sent ahead and what I have left behind, what I have made public and what I have kept secret. You are the One who brings forward and You are the One who delays. There is no god but You, and there is no power and no strength except with You.
