✧ The Prophet ﷺ used to pray from the evening (Isha) prayer until the dawn (Fajr) prayer eleven voluntary units (raka'at), and he would conclude every two units with the Tasleem (saying Assalamu Alaikum). He would perform the Witr prayer with one unit. When the Mu'athin finished the Adhan, he would perform two light units (raka'at), then lie down until the Mu'athin comes to him and he would go out with him.
