✧ A man called Sabigh came to Madinah and began asking about the ambiguous verses of the Quran, so Umar sent for him and had prepared palm branches for him. He said, "Who are you?" He said, "I am the servant of God, Sabigh." Umar took one of those palm branches and struck him, saying, "I am the servant of God, Umar," and he beat him until his head bled. Then he said, "O Commander of the Faithful, enough; what I used to find in my head has gone."
