أَخْبَرَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ أَنْبَأَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ
نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ عَنْ لِبْسَتَيْنِ أَنْ يَحْتَبِيَ أَحَدُكُمْ فِي الثَّوْبِ الْوَاحِدِ لَيْسَ بَيْنَ فَرْجِهِ وَبَيْنَ السَّمَاءِ شَيْءٌ وَعَنِ الصَّمَّاءِ اشْتِمَالِ الْيَهُودِ
Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade two ways of dressing: that one of you should wrap himself in a single garment with nothing between his private part and the sky, and the ṣammāʾ, the wrapping of the Jews.
