✧ The sons of Abdullah b. Mas'ud, when they bowed, would place their hands between their thighs. I prayed beside Sa'd and did that, and he struck my hand. When he finished, he said, “O my son, place your hands on your knees.” I did it another time after that, on a day, and prayed beside him, and he struck my hand. When he finished, he said, “We used to do this, and we were commanded to place the palms on the knees.”
