✧ Regarding those who neglect prayer

أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَجْلَانَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ
«لَقَدْ هَمَمْتُ أَنْ آمُرَ فِتْيَانِي فَيَجْمَعُوا حَطَبًا فَآمُرَ رَجُلًا يُصَلِّي بِالنَّاسِ ثُمَّ أُخَالِفَ إِلَى أَقْوَامٍ يَتَخَلَّفُونَ عَنْ هَذِهِ الصَّلَاةِ فَأُحَرِّقَ عَلَيْهِمْ بُيُوتَهُمْ لَوْ كَانَ عَرْقًا سَمِينًا أَوْ مُعَرَّقَيَنِ لَشَهِدُوهُمَا وَلَوْ يَعْلَمُونَ مَا فِيهِمَا لَأَتَوْهُمَا وَلَوْ حَبْوًا»

✧ "I was about to order my young men to gather firewood, then order a man to lead the people in prayer, and then go to those people who stay away from this prayer and burn their houses down upon them. If it had been a fat bone with meat or two meaty bones, they would have attended it. If they knew what was in them, they would come to them even if they had to crawl."
