✧ The dislike of youth

حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ أَنبَأَنَا ابْنُ عَوْنٍ عَنْ عُمَيْرِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ قَالَ

لَمَنْ «أَدْرَكْتُ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَكْثَرُ مِمَّنْ سَبَقَنِي مِنْهُمْ فَمَا رَأَيْتُ قَوْمًا أَيْسَرَ سِيرَةً وَلَا أَقَلَّ تَشْدِيدًا مِنْهُمْ»

Translation

✧ Those of the companions of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ whom I met are more than those who preceded me from them. I have not seen a people of easier conduct or less strictness than them.
