أَخْبَرَنَا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ثَنَا هِشَامٌ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَنَسٍ
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ وَأَبَا بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ وَعُثْمَانَ كَانُوا يَفْتَتِحُونَ الْقِرَاءَةَ بِ {الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ}
Translation

✧ "The Prophet, Abu Bakr, Umar, and Uthman used to begin reciting by saying, 'Praise be to Allah, the Lord of all the worlds' [Al-Fatiha 2]." Abu Muhammad said, 'With this, we say, and I do not see the need to audibly say 'In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.'"
