حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَهْلِ بْنُ زِيَادٍ نا صَالِحُ بْنُ مُقَاتِلٍ ثنا أَبِي ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ أَبُو أَيُّوبَ عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ عَنْ أَنَسٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ
عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ احْتَجَمَ فَصَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ وَلَمْ يَزِدْ عَنْ غَسْلِ مَحَاجِمِهِ حَدِيثٌ رَفَعَهُ ابْنُ أَبِي الْعِشْرِينَ وَوَقَفَهُ أَبُو الْمُغِيرَةِ عَنِ الْأَوْزَاعِيِّ وَهُوَ الصَّوَابُ

✧ ﷺ underwent cupping then prayed and did not perform wudu, and did no more than washing the places of his cupping. This is a hadith that Ibn Abi al-Ishrin raised as marfu, while Abu al-Mughirah stopped it at al-Awza'i, and that is the correct view.
