حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي نا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ نَاجِيَةَ نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي سَمِينَةَ نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ قَيْسٍ الْمَأْرَبِيُّ عَنْ ثُمَامَةَ بْنِ شَرَاحِيلَ عَنْ سُمَيِّ بْنِ قَيْسٍ عَنْ شُمَيْرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبْيَضَ بْنِ حَمَّالٍ قَالَ
وَفَدْتُ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَاسْتَقْطَعْتُهُ الْمِلْحَ فَقَطَعَهُ لِي فَلَمَّا وَلَّيْتُ قَالَ رَجُلٌ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَتَدْرِي مَا أَقْطَعْتَهُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّمَا أَقْطَعْتَهُ الْمَاءَ الْعِدَّ فَرَجَعَ فِيهِ
