machine translationʿAmr b. Shuʿayb narrates it, and there is disagreement about it from him. Ibn Jurayj narrated it from ʿAmr b. Shuʿayb, from Ṭāwūs, from Muʿādh; this was said by ʿAbd al-Majīd b. ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz b. Abī Rawwād from Ibn Jurayj. ʿĀmir al-Aḥwal, Maṭar al-Warrāq and others contradicted him: they narrated it from ʿAmr b. Shuʿayb, from his father, from his grandfather, and that is the correct version.

machine translationThe ḥadīth of ʿAbdullāh b. ʿAmr is a good and sound (ḥasan ṣaḥīḥ) ḥadīth, and it is the best thing narrated on this topic.

machine translationʿAmr b. Shuʿayb narrated it from Saʿīd b. al-Musayyab from ʿUmar. There is disagreement about ʿAmr: Muṭarrif b. Ṭarīf and Ḥabīb al-Muʿallim narrated it from ʿAmr b. Shuʿayb from Saʿīd b. al-Musayyab from ʿUmar. ʿAmr b. Shuʿayb also has another chain for it, from his father from his grandfather from the Prophet ﷺ, which al-Muthannā b. al-Ṣabbāḥ and others narrate. It seems that both are sound (ṣaḥīḥ).
