نا أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُرْشِدٍ الْبَزَّارُ نا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ الْبَحْرَانِيُّ نا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أنا مَعْمَرٌ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ قَبِيصَةَ بْنِ ذُؤَيْبٍ أَنَّ عُثْمَانَ بْنَ عَفَّانَ سُئِلَ عَنِ الْأُخْتَيْنِ مِمَّا مَلَكَتِ الْيَمِينِ فَقَالَ لَا آمُرُكَ وَلَا

أَنْهَاكَ أَحَلَّتْهُمَا آيَةٌ وَحَرَّمَتْهُمَا آيَةٌ فَخَرَجَ السَّائِلُ فَلَقِيَ رَجُلًا مِنْ أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ مَعْمَرٌ أَحْسَبُهُ قَالَ عَلِيٌّ فَقَالَ مَا سَأَلْتَ عَنْهُ عُثْمَانَ فَأَخْبَرَهُ بِمَا سَأَلَهُ وَبِمَا أَفْتَاهُ فَقَالَ لَهُ لَكِنِّي أَنْهَاكَ وَلَوْ كَانَ لِي عَلَيْكَ سَبِيلٌ ثُمَّ فَعَلْتَ لَجَعَلْتُكَ نَكَالًا
