نا أَبُو حَامِدٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ نا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ أَبِي إِسْرَائِيلَ نا خَلَفُ بْنُ خَلِيفَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هَاشِمٍ الرُّمَّانِيِّ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ قَالَ

سُئِلَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ عَنِ الرَّجُلِ وَالْمَرْأَةِ يُصِيبُ كُلُّ وَاحِدٍ مِنْهُمَا مِنَ الْآخَرِ حَرَامًا ثُمَّ يَبْدُو لَهُمَا فَيَتَزَوَّجَانِ قَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ كَانَ أَوَّلَهُ سِفَاحٌ وَآخِرَهُ نِكَاحٌ

✧ Ibn ʿAbbās was asked about a man and a woman each of whom attained the other unlawfully, then they later decide to marry. Ibn ʿAbbās said: Its beginning was fornication and its end is marriage.
