✧ What Is Narrated of the Prophet's ﷺ Saying: 'The Ears Are Part of the Head'

حَدَّثَنَا دَعْلَجُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ مُوسَى بْنُ هَارُونَ عَنْ هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ
قَالَ لَيْسَ بِشَيْءٍ فِيهِ شَهْرُ بْنُ حَوْشَبٍ وَشَهْرٌ ضَعِيفُ وَالْحَدِيثِ فِي رَفْعِهِ شَكٌّ وَقَالَ ابْنُ أَبِي حَاتِمٍ قَالَ أَبِي سِنَانِ بْنُ رَبِيعَةَ أَبُو رَبِيعَةَ مُضْطَرِبُ الْحَدِيثِ
Translation
✧ He said: It is nothing. In it is Shahr b. Hawshab, and Shahr is weak, and there is doubt about the hadith being raised. And Ibn Abi Hatim said: My father said: Sinan b. Rabi'ah Abu Rabi'ah has a confused (mudtarib) hadith.
