نا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ نا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ قُتَيْبَةَ نا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ النَّصْرِ هُوَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ الْأَشْجَعِيِّ قَالَ قُلْتُ لِسُفْيَانَ حَدِيثُ دَاوُدَ الْأَوْدِيِّ عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ لَا مَهْرَ أَقَلَّ مِنْ عَشَرَةِ دَرَاهِمَ

فَقَالَ سُفْيَانُ دَاوُدُ مَا زَالَ هَذَا يُنْكَرُ عَلَيْهِ فَقُلْتُ إِنَّ شُعْبَةَ رَوَى عَنْهُ فَضَرَبَ جَبْهَتَهُ وَقَالَ دَاوُدَ دَاوُدَ
