نا أَبُو رَوْقٍ الْهِزَّانِيِّ نا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ رَوْحٍ نا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ مُطَرِّفٍ عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ قَالَ
جَاءَ رَجُلَانِ بِرَجُلٍ إِلَى عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ ؓ فَشَهِدَا عَلَيْهِ بِالسَّرِقَةِ فَقَطَعَهُ ثُمَّ جَاءُوا بِآخَرَ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ فَقَالَا هُوَ هَذَا غَلَّطَنَا بِالْأَوَّلِ فَلَمْ يَقْبَلْ شَهَادَتَهُمَا عَلَى الْآخَرِ وَغَرَّمَهُمَا دِيَةَ الْأَوَّلِ وَقَالَ لَوْ أَعْلَمُ أَنَّكُمَا تَعَمَّدْتُمَا لَقَطَعْتُكُمَا
