نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ الْفَارِسِيُّ نا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ نا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ سَالِمٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ

أَنَّ رَجُلًا مُسْلِمًا قَتَلَ رَجُلًا مِنْ أَهْلِ الذِّمَّةِ عَمْدًا فَرُفِعَ إِلَى عُثْمَانَ فَلَمْ يَقْتُلْهُ وَغَلَّظَ عَلَيْهِ الدِّيَةَ مِثْلَ دِيَةِ الْمُسْلِمِ

✧ A Muslim man killed a man from the people of the covenant intentionally, and the case was brought to Uthman. He did not execute him, but imposed a heavy blood money on him, like the blood money of a Muslim.
