The most insolent of people toward Allah is the one who kills someone other than his killer, the one who seeks blood-vengeance of the Days of Ignorance, and the one who makes his eyes see in sleep what they did not see.

machine translationThus ʿAbd al-Raḥmān b. Isḥāq narrated it, and he was contradicted. ʿUqayl, Yūnus and others narrated it, saying: from al-Zuhrī, from Muslim b. Yazīd, from Abū Shurayḥ, from the Prophet ﷺ, and this is the correct (ṣaḥīḥ) version. ʿAbd al-Raḥmān b. Isḥāq made a mistake.

machine translationThis is among the hadith of al-Zuhrī; I do not know anyone who narrates it from him other than ʿAbd al-Raḥmān b. Isḥāq. ʿAbd al-Raḥmān has other hadith besides what I have mentioned, including hadith from al-Zuhrī and from other teachers of his. In his hadith there are some things that are rejected (munkar) and for which he is not corroborated.
