ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ السُّوطِيُّ نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَعِيدِ بْنِ غَالِبٍ نا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ أنا يَزِيدُ بْنُ عِيَاضٍ عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ سُلَيْمٍ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ يَسَارٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ
مَا عُبِدَ اللَّهُ بِشَيْءٍ أَفْضَلَ مِنْ فِقْهٍ فِي دَيْنٍ وَلَفَقِيهٌ أَشَدُّ عَلَى الشَّيْطَانِ مِنْ أَلْفِ عَابِدٍ وَلِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عِمَادٌ وَعِمَادُ هَذَا الدِّينِ الْفِقْهُ فَقَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ لَأَنْ أَجْلِسَ سَاعَةً فَأَفْقَهَ أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ مِنْ أَنْ أُحْيِيَ لَيْلَةً إِلَى الْغَدَاةِ
