ثنا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ نا خَلَّادُ بْنُ أَسْلَمَ نا النَّضْرُ بْنُ شُمَيْلٍ نا الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ زِيَادٍ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ
كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَخْطُبُ فَقَالَ يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ إِنَّ اللَّهَ تَعَالَى فَرَضَ عَلَيْكُمُ الْحَجَّ فَقَامَ رَجُلٌ فَقَالَ أَفِي كُلِّ عَامٍ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ فَجَعَلَ يُعْرِضُ عَنْهُ ثُمَّ قَالَ لَوْ قُلْتُ نَعَمْ لَوَجَبَتْ وَلَوْ وَجَبَتْ مَا قُمْتُمْ بِهَا ثُمَّ قَالَ دَعُونِي مَا تَرَكْتُكُمْ فَإِنَّمَا أَهْلَكَ الَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِكُمْ سُؤَالُهُمْ وَاخْتِلَافُهُمْ عَلَى أَنْبِيَائِهِمْ فَإِذَا أَمَرْتُكُمْ بِأَمْرٍ فَأْتُوهُ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُمْ وَإِذَا نَهَيْتُكُمْ عَنْ شَيْءٍ فَاجْتَنِبُوهُ
