- Abū Bakr Aḥmad b. al-Ḥusayn al-Bayhaqī
machine translationIts chain revolves around al-Ḥajjāj, who is weak (ḍaʿīf) and a concealer of defects in transmission (mudallis). Al-Bayhaqī said: "It is among his confusions (takhlīṭāt)."

machine translationAs for the hadith of Umm Qays, the sister of ʿUkkāshah b. Miḥṣan, it does not conflict with the hadith of ʿĀʾishah, may God be pleased with her, because the hadith of ʿĀʾishah has a degree of soundness that the hadith of Umm Qays does not have. In it, that is, in the hadith of Umm Qays, is Ibn Lahīʿah, who is weak (ḍaʿīf), and this hadith of his is anomalous (shādhdh).
