  • Dāraquṭnī

machine translationAbū Muʿāwiyah narrated it from Ḥajjāj, from Abū Bakr b. Abī al-Jahm, from ʿAmrah, from ʿĀʾishah, and he made an error (wahima) in that.

    in سنن الدارقطني, p. 2687
  • Badr al-Dīn al-ʿAynī

machine translationAs for the hadith of Umm Qays, the sister of ʿUkkāshah b. Miḥṣan, it does not conflict with the hadith of ʿĀʾishah, may God be pleased with her, because the hadith of ʿĀʾishah has a degree of soundness that the hadith of Umm Qays does not have. In it, that is, in the hadith of Umm Qays, is Ibn Lahīʿah, who is weak (ḍaʿīf), and this hadith of his is anomalous (shādhdh).

    in سنن الدارقطني, p. 2687
