ثنا ابْنُ مَخْلَدٍ نا صَالِحُ بْنُ مُقَاتِلِ بْنِ صَالِحٍ نا أَبِي نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الزِّبْرِقَانِ عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ عُبَيْدَةَ أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ دِينَارٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ

أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقُولُ مِنَ السُّنَّةِ تُدَلِّكُ الْمَرْأَةُ مِنْ رَأْسِهَا بِشَيْءٍ مِنْ حِنَّاءٍ عَشِيَّةَ الْإِحْرَامِ وَتُغَلِّفُ رَأْسَهَا بِغَسْلِةِ لَيْسَ فِيهَا طِيبٌ وَلَا تُحْرِمْ عَطَلًا

✧ He used to say: It is from the Sunnah for a woman to rub her head with some henna on the evening of entering ihram, and to cover her head with a wash that has no perfume, and not to enter ihram unadorned.
