- Abū Zakariyyā Yaḥyá b. Sharaf al-Nawawī
حديث جابر لكنه غير ثابت لعدم جزمه برفعه
machine translationThe hadith of Jābir, but it is not established, since he did not state definitively that it was raised to the Prophet (marfūʿ).
in سنن الدارقطني, p. 2504 - Zarqānī
مشكوك في رفعه لأن أبا الزبير قال سمعت جابرا قال سمعت أحسبه رفع إلى النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم فذكره
machine translationIts attribution to the Prophet (rafʿ) is doubtful, because Abū al-Zubayr said: "I heard Jābir say: I heard—I think he attributed it to the Prophet ﷺ—" and then he mentioned it.
in سنن الدارقطني, p. 2504 - Abū Zakariyyā Yaḥyá b. Sharaf al-Nawawī
حديث جابر لأن أبا الزبير قال أحسب جابرا رفعه وهذا لا يقتضي ثبوته مرفوعا
machine translationThe hadith of Jābir, because Abū al-Zubayr said: "I think Jābir attributed it to the Prophet (rafaʿahu)," and this does not mean that it is established as raised to the Prophet (marfūʿ).
in سنن الدارقطني, p. 2504
