نا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ وَأَحْمَدُ بْنُ سَلْمَانَ قَالَا نا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ نا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ نا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ قَالَ قَالَ أَبُو عُبَيْدَةَ بْنُ حُذَيْفَةَ قَالَ رَجُلٌ

كُنْتُ أَسْأَلُ النَّاسَ عَنْ حَدِيثِ عَدِيِّ بْنِ حَاتِمٍ وَهُوَ إِلَى جَنْبِي لَا أَسْأَلُهُ فَأَتَيْتُهُ فَقَالَ بَعَثَ اللَّهُ مُحَمَّدًا ﷺ فَكَرِهْتُهُ ثُمَّ قُلْتُ لَوْ أَتَيْتُهُ فَسَمِعْتُ مِنْهُ فَأَتَيْتُهُ فَقَالَ لِي يَا عَدِيُّ بْنُ حَاتِمٍ أَسْلِمْ تَسْلَمْ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ وَقَالَ لِي فَإِنَّ الظَّعِينَةَ سَتَرْحَلُ مِنَ الْحِيرَةِ حَتَّى تَطُوفَ بِالْبَيْتِ بِغَيْرِ جِوَارٍ
