حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ أَبِي الشَّوْكِ نا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُكْرَمٍ نا يَحْيَى بْنُ هَاشِمٍ وَثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ غَالِبٍ وَثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ الدَّقَّاقُ نا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ سِنِينَ قَالَا نا يَحْيَى بْنُ هَاشِمٍ نا الْأَعْمَشُ عَنْ شَقِيقٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ
قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ إِذَا تَطَهَّرَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيَذْكُرِ اسْمَ اللَّهَ فَإِنَّهُ يُطَهِّرُ جَسَدَهُ كُلَّهُ وَإِنْ لَمْ يَذْكُرِ اسْمَ اللَّهِ فِي طُهُورِهِ لَمْ يَطْهُرْ مِنْهُ إِلَّا مَا مَرَّ عَلَيْهِ الْمَاءُ فَإِذَا فَرَغَ مِنْ طُهُورِهِ فَلْيَشْهَدْ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَأَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُ فَإِذَا قَالَ ذَلِكَ فُتِحَتْ لَهُ أَبْوَابُ السَّمَاءِ يَحْيَى بْنُ هِشَامٍ ضَعِيفٌ

يحيى بن هاشم عن هشام بن عروة والأعمش والثوري وشعبة غير ما ذكر وهو يروى أيضا عن إسماعيل بن أبي خالد وأبي حنيفة وغيرهم بالمناكير يضعها عليهم ويسرق حديث الثقات وهو متهم في نفسه أنه لم يلق هؤلاء وعامة حديثه عن هؤلاء وغيرهم إنما هو مناكير وموضوعات ومسروقات وهو في عداد من يضع الحديث
machine translationYaḥyā b. Hāshim narrates from Hishām b. ʿUrwah, al-Aʿmash, al-Thawrī and Shuʿbah other than what has been mentioned, and he also narrates from Ismāʿīl b. Abī Khālid, Abū Ḥanīfah and others reprehensible reports (manākīr), which he attributes falsely to them, and he steals the hadiths of the trustworthy. He is himself accused, as he did not meet these men; most of his hadiths from these and others are only reprehensible (manākīr), fabricated (mawḍūʿāt) and stolen (masrūqāt), and he is counted among those who fabricate hadith.
