✧ Kissing for the Fasting Person

حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْبَزَّازُ حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَرَفَةَ ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ عَطَاءٍ عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ
عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يُصْبِحُ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ وَهُوَ يُرِيدُ الصَّوْمَ فَيَقُولُ لَنَا أَعِنْدَكُمْ شَيْءٌ أَتَاكُمْ شَيْءٌ قَالَتْ فَنَقُولُ أَوَلَمْ تُصْبِحْ صَائِمًا فَيَقُولُ بَلَى وَلَكِنْ لَا بَأْسَ أَنْ أُفْطِرَ مَا لَمْ يَكُنْ نَذْرًا أَوْ قَضَاءَ رَمَضَانَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ هُوَ الْعَرْزَمِيُّ ضَعِيفُ الْحَدِيثِ

✧ Upon him be peace, he would enter the morning from the night intending to fast, and he would say to us, 'Do you have anything? Has anything come to you?' She said, 'We would say: Have you not entered the morning fasting?' He would say, 'Yes, but there is no harm in my breaking my fast as long as it is not a vow or making up Ramadan.' Muhammad b. Ubayd Allah is al-Arzami, weak in hadith.
