حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ وَآخَرُونَ قَالُوا نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمِ بْنِ وَارَهٍ نا الْخَضِرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ شُجَاعٍ أنا هُشَيْمٌ نا دَاوُدُ بْنُ أَبِي هِنْدَ عَنْ قُشَيْرِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو عَنْ بَجَالَةَ قَالَ

لَمْ يَأْخُذْ عُمَرُ الْجِزْيَةَ مِنَ الْمَجُوسِ حَتَّى شَهِدَ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَوْفٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَخَذَ مِنْهُمْ قَالَ وَقَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ كُنْتُ جَالِسًا بِبَابِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَدَخَلَ عَلَيْهِ رَجُلَانِ مِنْهُمْ ثُمَّ خَرَجَا فَقُلْتُ مَاذَا قَضَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَقَالَا الْإِسْلَامُ أَوِ الْقَتْلُ قَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ فَأَخَذَ النَّاسُ بِقَوْلِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ وَتَرَكُوا قُولِي
