machine translationManṣūr b. al-Muʿtamir narrates it, and there is disagreement about him. Ibn ʿUyaynah narrated it from Manṣūr, from Abū Ḥāzim, from Abū Hurayrah, as a raised report (marfūʿ), and some of those narrating from Ibn ʿUyaynah doubted whether he raised it. Isrāʾīl differed from him and narrated it from Manṣūr, from Sālim b. Abī al-Jaʿd, from Abū Hurayrah, raising it. Ḥuṣayn narrated it from Abū Ḥāzim, from Abū Hurayrah, as a halted report (mawqūf).
in سنن الدارقطني, p. 1990 - ابن عبد الهادي الحنبلي
رواته ثقات إلا أن أحمد بن حنبل قال سالم بن أبي الجعد لم يسمع من أبي هريرة
machine translationIts narrators are trustworthy (thiqāt), except that Aḥmad b. Ḥanbal said: Sālim b. Abī al-Jaʿd did not hear from Abū Hurayrah.
