حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ثنا أَبُو حَاتِمٍ الرَّازِيُّ ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عُفَيْرٍ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ عَمْرَةَ بِنْتِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ
عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَقْرَأُ فِي الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ الَّتِي يُوتِرُ بَعْدَهُمَا بِسَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ الْأَعْلَى وَقُلْ يَا أَيُّهَا الْكَافِرُونَ وَيَقْرَأُ فِي الْوِتْرِ بِقُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ وَقُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ الْفَلَقِ وَقُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ النَّاسِ

✧ upon him be peace, he used to recite in the two rak'ahs after which he performed Witr: Sabbih isma rabbika al-a'la and Qul ya ayyuha al-kafirun, and in the Witr: Qul huwa Allahu ahad, Qul a'udhu bi rabbi al-falaq, and Qul a'udhu bi rabbi al-nas.

رواه عثمان بن الحكم عن يحيى بن سعيد أنه بلغه عن عائشة قالا وهذا أشبه وأفسد على يحيى بن أيوب
machine translationʿUthmān b. al-Ḥakam narrated it from Yaḥyā b. Saʿīd, that it had reached him from ʿĀʾishah. They both said: This is more likely, and it is more damaging to Yaḥyā b. Ayyūb.
