حَدَّثَنَا بَكْرٌ، قَالَ: نَا شُعَيْبُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، قَالَ: أَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ، عَنْ عَمْرَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ

كَانَ يُوتِرُ بِثَلَاثٍ، فَيَقْرَأُ فِي أَوَّلِ رَكْعَةٍ بِـ سَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ الْأَعْلَى وَفِي الثَّانِيَةِ قُلْ يَا أَيُّهَا الْكَافِرُونَ وَفِي الثَّالِثَةِ بِـ قُلْ هُوَ اللهُ أَحَدٌ وَقُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ الْفَلَقِ، وَقُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ النَّاسِ

✧ He used to perform Witr with three [rak'ahs]. In the first rak'ah he would recite "Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High," in the second "Say: O disbelievers," and in the third "Say: He is God, the One" and "Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of the daybreak" and "Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind."
