The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to recite in the two rak‘ahs after which he would pray the Witr: "Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High" and "Say: O disbelievers"; and in the Witr he would recite "Say: He is Allah, the One", "Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of the daybreak" and "Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind." "Do not make the Witr resemble the Maghrib prayer."
