The selling of dates still on trees

حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ عَنْ عَطَاءٍ وَأَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ ؓ قَالَ
نَهَى النَّبِيُّ ﷺ عَنْ بَيْعِ الثَّمَرِ حَتَّى يَطِيبَ وَلاَ يُبَاعُ شَىْءٌ مِنْهُ إِلاَّ بِالدِّينَارِ وَالدِّرْهَمِ إِلاَّ الْعَرَايَا
Translation

The Prophet ﷺ forbade the selling of fruits unless they get ripe, and none of them should be sold except for Dinar or Dirham (i.e. money), except the 'Araya trees (the dates of which could be sold for dates).
