Chain of narrators
  1. ʿAbdullāh b. ʿAbd al-Wahhāb
  2. Khālid b. al-Ḥārith

'Ubaidullah was asked about Al Mahassab. 'Ubaidullah narrated: Nafiʿ said, 'Messenger of Allah ﷺs, ʿUmar and Ibn ʿUmar camped there." Nafiʿ added, "Ibn ʿUmar used to offer the Zuhr and ʿAsr prayers at it (i.e. Al-Mahassab)." I think he mentioned the Maghrib prayer also. I said, "I don't doubt about ʿIsha' (i.e. he used to offer it there also), and he used to sleep there for a while. He used to say, 'The Prophet ﷺ used to do the same.' "

machine translationAnd from Nāfiʿ: Ibn ʿUmar (may God be pleased with him) used to pray at it, meaning al-Muḥaṣṣab, the Ẓuhr and the ʿAṣr, and I think he said also the Maghrib. Khālid said: I have no doubt about the ʿIshāʾ. And he would sleep for a short while, and he would relate that from the Prophet ﷺ.
