حَدَّثَنَا سَلَمَةُ بْنُ شَبِيبٍ وَالْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ، وَاللَّفْظُ لِسَلَمَةَ، قَالَ: نَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ
أَنَّهُمْ تَفَاخَرُوا يَوْمًا عِنْدَهُ، فَقَالُوا: الرِّجَالُ أَكْثَرُ فِي الْجَنَّةِ أَوِ النِّسَاءُ ؟ فَقَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ: أَوَلَيْسَ قَدْ قَالَ أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ ﷺ: إِنَّ أَوَّلَ زُمْرَةٍ يَدْخُلُونَ الْجَنَّةَ وُجُوهُهُمْ مِثْلُ الْقَمَرِ لَيْلَةَ الْبَدْرِ، ثُمَّ الَّذِينَ يَلُونَهُمْ كَأَضْوَأِ كَوْكَبٍ دُرِّيٍّ فِي السَّمَاءِ، لِكُلِّ امْرِئٍ مِنْهُمْ زَوْجَتَانِ اثْنَانِ يُرَى مُخُّ سَاقِهَا مِنْ وَرَاءِ اللَّحْمِ، وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ مَا فِيهَا أَعْزَبُ
Translation

✧ One day they boasted in his presence and said: 'Are men more numerous in Paradise or women?' Abu Hurayrah said: 'Did not Abu al-Qasim ﷺ say: "Indeed, the first group to enter Paradise will have faces like the moon on the night of the full moon, then those who follow them will be like the brightest shining star in the sky. Each man among them will have two wives, the marrow of whose shanks can be seen from behind the flesh. And by the One in Whose hand is my soul, there is no bachelor in it."'
