حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُمَرَ بْنِ هَيَّاجٍ الْكُوفِيُّ، نَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ مُوَفَّقٍ، نَا عَبْدُ السَّلَامِ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ أَبِي خَالِدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:

أَتَانِي جِبْرِيلُ ﷺ الْبَارِحَةَ فَأَدْخَلَنِي الْجَنَّةَ، وَأَرَانِي الْبَابَ الَّذِي أَدْخُلُ أَنَا مِنْهُ وَأُمَّتِي. فَقَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ ؓ: وَدِدْتُ أَنِّي كُنْتُ مَعَكَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ. قَالَ: فَأَخَذَ بِيَدِهِ وَقَالَ: أَنَا وَإِيَّاكَ أَوَّلُ أُمَّتِي دُخُولًا مِنْهُ

✧ Jibril ﷺ came to me last night and admitted me into Paradise, and showed me the gate from which I and my ummah will enter. Abu Bakr ؓ said, "I wish I had been with you, O Messenger of Allah." He took him by the hand and said, "You and I are the first of my ummah to enter from it."
