✧ A son of Fatimah ؓ became gravely ill, so she sent for the Messenger of Allah ﷺ to call him. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Go back, for to Him belongs what He takes and to Him belongs what He leaves, and everything has an appointed term by measure." When he was near death, she sent for him, and he said to us, "Get up." When he sat down, he began reciting: "Then why, when it reaches the throat, and you are at that time looking on" until the boy passed away. The eyes of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ filled with tears. Sa'd said, "O Messenger of Allah, you weep while you forbade weeping!" He said, "It is only mercy, and Allah shows mercy to the merciful among His servants."
