حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ زِيَادٍ الرَّازِيُّ، نَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ الرَّازِيُّ، نَا أَبُو سِنَانٍ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ، عَنْ أَبِي رَزِينٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ:
جَاءَ ابْنُ أُمِّ مَكْتُومٍ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ: إِنِّي رَجُلٌ ضَرِيرٌ وَأَنَا شَاسِعُ الدَّارِ، وَلِي قَائِدٌ لَا يُلَاوِمُنِي، فَهَلْ تَجِدُ لِي مِنْ رُخْصَةٍ ؟ قَالَ: تَسْمَعُ النِّدَاءَ ؟ قَالَ: نَعَمْ. قَالَ: مَا أَجِدُ لَكَ مِنْ عُذْرٍ. أَوْ قَالَ: رُخْصَةٍ.

✧ Ibn Umm Maktum came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said: I am a blind man and my house is far, and I have a guide who does not accommodate me. Is there any concession for me? He said: Do you hear the call? He said: Yes. He said: I find no excuse for you. Or he said: concession.
