حَدَّثَنَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ مُوسَى، نَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ لَيْثٍ، عَنْ زِيَادٍ، وَلَمْ يَنْسُبْهُ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:

لِلضَّيْفِ عَلَى مَنْ نَزَلَ عَلَيْهِ ثَلَاثٌ، فَمَا كَانَ فَوْقَ ذَلِكَ فَهُوَ صَدَقَةٌ، وَعَلَى الضَّيْفِ أَنْ يَرْتَحِلَ، لَا يُؤْثِمُ أَهْلَ مَنْزِلِهِ

Translation

✧ The guest has three (days of) right upon the one he stays with. Whatever is beyond that is charity. And the guest must depart, so as not to cause sin upon the people of the house.
