وَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ أَخْزَمَ، نَا أَبُو قُتَيْبَةَ، عَنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:

إِنَّ أَهْلَ الدَّرَجَاتِ لَيَرَاهُمْ مَنْ هُوَ أَسْفَلَ مِنْهُمْ كَمَا يُرَى الْكَوْكَبُ الدُّرِّيُّ فِي أُفُقِ السَّمَاءِ، وَإِنَّ أَبَا بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ مِنْهُمْ وَأَنْعَمَا

Translation

✧ Indeed, the people of the highest ranks are seen by those below them just as the shining star is seen in the horizon of the sky; and indeed Abu Bakr and Umar are among them and are excellent.
