✧ The example of one who hears wisdom but only acts upon its worst part is like a man who came to a shepherd and said: 'Give me a sheep from your flock as a sacrifice.' He said: 'Go and take hold of the best-eared sheep.' He went and took hold of the ear of the flock's dog.
