حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَرَفَةَ، نَا ابْنُ عُلَيَّةَ يَعْنِي إِسْمَاعِيلَ، عَنْ يُونُسَ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عُبَيْدٍ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:
مَنْ يَحْفَظْ مِمَّا افْتَرَضَ اللهُ عَلَيْهِ كَلِمَةً أَوْ كَلِمَتَيْنِ أَوْ ثَلَاثًا، فَيَعْمَلْ بِهِنَّ وَيُعَلِّمْهُنَّ ؟ قُلْتُ: أَنَا، فَبَسَطْتُ رِدَائِي فَحَدَّثَنِي حَتَّى انْقَضَى حَدِيثُ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَضَمَمْتُهُ إِلَيَّ، فَأَنَا أَرْجُو أَنْ لَا أَنْسَى شَيْئًا سَمِعْتُهُ
Translation

✧ "Who will preserve a word or two or three from what God has obligated upon him, and act upon them and teach them?" I said, "I will." So I spread out my cloak, and he narrated to me until the speech of the Messenger of God ﷺ was finished, then I gathered it to myself. So I hope that I will not forget anything I heard from him.
