حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الزُّهْرِيُّ، نَا مَالِكُ بْنُ سُعَيْرٍ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ وَأَبِي سَعِيدٍ، رَفَعَاهُ، قَالَ:
يَقُولُ اللهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ لِعَبْدِهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ: أَلَمْ أَحْمِلْكَ عَلَى الْخَيْلِ وَالْإِبِلِ ؟ وَزَوَّجْتُكَ النِّسَاءَ ؟ وَجَعَلْتُكَ تَرْأَسُ وَتَرْبَعُ ؟ أَفَظَنَنْتَ أَنَّكَ مُلَاقِي يَوْمَكَ هَذَا ؟ فَيَقُولُ: لَا، فَيَقُولُ: الْيَوْمَ أَنْسَاكَ كَمَا نَسِيتَنِي

✧ God, Mighty and Majestic, will say to His servant on the Day of Resurrection: Did I not carry you on horses and camels, and marry you to women, and make you a leader and a chief? Did you think that you would meet this day of yours? He will say: No. Then He will say: Today I forget you as you forgot Me.
