Yamān, Yaḥyā b. ʿĪsā al-Ramlī and Hushaym narrated it from al-Aʿmash, from Abū Ṣāliḥ, from Abū Hurayrah. Jābir b. Nūḥ said: from al-Aʿmash, from Abū Ṣāliḥ, from Abū Hurayrah or Abū Saʿīd. Muḥāḍir said: from al-Aʿmash, from Abū Ṣāliḥ, from Abū Hurayrah or one of the Companions of the Prophet ﷺ. Zāʾidah, Abū ʿAwānah and Wakīʿ said: from al-Aʿmash, from Abū Ṣāliḥ, from one of the Companions of the Prophet ﷺ. This was from al-Aʿmash, and God knows best, he used to be uncertain about it.
