Translation

✧ Ishaq b. Ibrahim b. Habib b. al-Shahid narrated to us: Abu Bakr b. Ayyash narrated to us, from al-A'mash, from Abu Salih, from Abu Hurayrah, from the Prophet ﷺ similar to it. We do not know anyone who related this hadith with this wording except al-A'mash, from Abu Salih, from Abu Hurayrah. Some scholars have interpreted that the egg is the iron helmet made for war that is placed on the head as protection, and that the rope is a rope that Bedouins have, which they call risha'. Each of these two is worth more than a quarter of a dinar. Even if the wording is general, this is its meaning, and Allah knows best.
