وَبِهِ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:
إِذَا قَرَأَ ابْنُ آدَمَ السَّجْدَةَ اعْتَزَلَ الشَّيْطَانُ وَبَكَى، وَيَقُولُ: يَا وَيْلَهُ، أُمِرَ ابْنُ آدَمَ بِالسُّجُودِ فَسَجَدَ فَلَهُ الْجَنَّةُ، وَأُمِرْتُ بِالسُّجُودِ فَعَصَيْتُ فَلِيَ النَّارُ
Translation
Chain of narrators
- Rasūl Allāh ﷺ
✧ When the son of Adam recites the sajdah, the Satan withdraws and weeps, saying: “Woe to him! The son of Adam was commanded to prostrate and he prostrated, so Paradise is his. I was commanded to prostrate and I disobeyed, so the Fire is mine.”
