Chain of narrators
  1. Rasūl Allāh ﷺ

✧ There is no servant who does not pay the zakat of his wealth except that he will be brought with his wealth, and sheets of metal will be heated for him in the fire of Hell, and his forehead, brow, and back will be branded with them, until Allah the Exalted judges between His servants on a day whose length is a thousand years of what you count. Then he will see his way: either to Paradise or to the Fire. And there is no servant who does not pay the charity of his camels except that he will be brought with his camels, as numerous as they ever were, and a wide flat valley will be prepared for them, and they will trample him. Every time the last of them passes over him, the first will be returned to him, until Allah the Blessed and Exalted judges between His servants. Then he will see his way: either to Paradise or to the Fire. And there is no servant who does not pay the charity of his sheep except that he will be brought with his sheep, as numerous as they ever were, and a wide flat valley will be prepared for them, and they will trample him. [Every time] the last of them passes over him, the first will be returned to him; they will trample him with their hooves and gore him with their horns, none of them having twisted horns or being hornless, until Allah judges between His servants on a day whose length is fifty thousand years. Then he will see his way: either to Paradise or to the Fire. They said: "O Messenger of Allah, what about horses?" He said: "Goodness is tied to the forelocks of horses until the Day of Resurrection. Horses are of three kinds: for one man they are a reward, for another a covering, and for another a burden. As for the one for whom they are a reward, he is the one who keeps them for the cause of Allah and prepares them for it. They are a reward for him; nothing disappears into their stomachs except that a reward is written for him for it. Even if he passes by a meadow or two meadows and lets them graze there, a reward is written for him for what they eat. Even if they run up a hill or two hills, a reward is written for him for every step. Even if he comes to a river and gives them water, a reward is written for him for every drop that disappears into their stomachs from it." Until he mentioned the reward even for their dung and urine. "As for the one for whom they are a covering, he is the one who keeps them for dignity, beauty, and concealment, and does not withhold their right of backs and bellies in their ease or hardship. As for the one for whom they are a burden, he is the one who keeps them out of pride, arrogance, and showing off to people, and he will regret it." They said: "O Messenger of Allah, what about donkeys?" He said: "Nothing has been revealed to me about them except this comprehensive, unique verse: 'Whoever does an atom's weight of good will see it, and whoever does an atom's weight of evil will see it.'"
