حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ قَالَ: نَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى قَالَ: نَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ:
إِنَّ الْعَبْدَ لَيَتَكَلَّمُ بِالْكَلِمَةِ مِنْ رِضْوَانِ اللهِ لَا يُلْقِي لَهَا بَالًا يَرْفَعُهُ اللهُ بِهَا دَرَجَاتٍ، وَإِنَّ الْعَبْدَ لَيَتَكَلَّمُ بِالْكَلِمَةِ مِنْ سَخَطِ اللهِ لَا يُلْقِي لَهَا بَالًا يَهْوِي بِهَا فِي جَهَنَّمَ

✧ A servant may utter a word that pleases God, paying no attention to it, by which God raises him degrees. And a servant may utter a word that angers God, paying no attention to it, by which he falls into Hell.
