✧ What 'Abd al-Rahman al-A'raj narrated from Abu Hurayrah

وَبِإِسْنَادِهِ

أَنَّ رَجُلًا - أَوِ امْرَأَةً - مَرَّ بِكَلْبٍ يَأْكُلُ الثَّرَى مِنَ الْعَطَشِ فَأَخَذَ الرَّجُلُ أَوِ الْمَرْأَةُ الْخُفَّ فَجَعَلَ يَغْرِفُ لَهُ مِنَ الْمَاءِ، أَوْ فَسَقَاهُ، أَوْ فَسَقَتْهُ فَأَدْخَلَهُ اللهُ الْجَنَّةَ أَوْ فَأَدْخَلَهَا الْجَنَّةَ

Translation

✧ A man - or a woman - passed by a dog eating moist earth from thirst, and the man or the woman took off a leather sock and began scooping water for it, or gave it water, or she gave it water, and Allah admitted him to Paradise, or admitted her to Paradise.
